Terms & Conditions of Access & Use

Last updated: July 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using Vidimentor's website or services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Introduction

Vidimentor ("Vidimentor", "we", "us", or "our") provides online 1-on-1 tutoring, mentorship, demo classes, and doubt-clearing sessions for students (the "Services"). The Services are made available through our website and any related mobile or web applications (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, whether or not you register an account.

2. Definitions

"User", "you", or "your" means any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including students, parents, and guardians. "Member" means a User who has registered an account. "Content" means text, images, audio, video, course material, and any other information available through the Platform.

3. Eligibility

The Services are intended for students and their parents or legal guardians. Users under the age of 18 may use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on the minor's behalf and is responsible for the minor's use of the Platform.

4. Account Registration

To access most Services, you must register an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at hello@vidimentor.com.

5. Use of the Platform and Services

Vidimentor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You agree not to copy, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from the Platform or its Content, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Course Listings

Course descriptions, teaching-hour estimates, test counts, and schedules shown on the Platform are indicative. Because every Vidimentor course is customized, the final course plan for a student is confirmed after the diagnostic assessment and counselling session. We may update course offerings at any time.

7. No Endorsement

Vidimentor is an independent education provider. References to boards and examinations (such as CBSE, ICSE, JEE, or NEET) are for identification only. Vidimentor is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, CBSE, CISCE, NTA, or any other examination body.

8. Payment Terms

Fees for enrolled courses are communicated before enrollment and are payable in advance through the payment methods offered on the Platform. All fees are stated inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Demo classes are free of charge. For paid enrollments, refund requests made within 30 days of course commencement will be honoured on a pro-rata basis for unused classes, subject to verification. To request a cancellation or refund, write to hello@vidimentor.com. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

We investigate all reports promptly and may suspend or terminate accounts and involve authorities where appropriate.

12. Reporting Misconduct

If you experience or witness behaviour that violates these Terms, please report it to hello@vidimentor.com with relevant details. We will review and act on reports in a timely manner and keep the reporter's identity confidential to the extent possible.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where required by law (including GDPR for EU residents), we obtain explicit consent before processing personal data, notify affected users of data breaches as required, and honour rights of access, rectification, erasure, and data portability.

14. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Platform and its Content — including course plans, notes, assessments, software, design, and trademarks — are owned by or licensed to Vidimentor. Downloading or accessing material does not transfer ownership. Any feedback you provide may be used by us to improve the Services without obligation to you.

15. Member Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as questions, written work, or testimonials) and grant Vidimentor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for providing and improving the Services. Testimonials will be used for promotion only with your consent.

16. Hyperlinks

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

17. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, notify us at hello@vidimentor.com with identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material, and your contact details. We will review and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material.

18. Term, Termination and Suspension

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Platform. You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where practicable, if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or where required by law. Upon termination, licences granted to you end, and provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive.

19. Disclaimers

The Platform and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to deliver excellent learning outcomes, we do not guarantee specific grades, ranks, scores, or admission results. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vidimentor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the Services giving rise to the claim in the preceding twelve months.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Vidimentor, its officers, employees, and partners harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

22. Notices

Notices to you may be given by email to the address registered with your account or by posting on the Platform. Notices to us should be sent to hello@vidimentor.com.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available in your place of residence.

24. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vidimentor regarding the Services. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified on the Platform or by email, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
